Work Together, Grow Together

Japanese Safe and Secure Food to Vietnam
Partners Creating the Future Together

Superior Quality,
Great Prices Every Day

The founding spirit we established when we opened our doors in 1958“A store that sells good products cheaply” and “Anything delicious”—remains the origin of Terata even as times have changed.

We promise to provide high-quality products to our customers at fair prices every day.

Our mission is to constantly strive to serve our customers daily, accepting only “a slight profit that allows the store to continue operating” rather than seeking large profits.

Message from the President

Akita Prefecture, our hometown, is a wonderful region blessed with rich nature and warm-hearted people.

However, it is facing challenges that change with the times. To connect this place to the future, we are working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to create new value. We believe that by rooting ourselves in the local community and connecting with the world, starting with Vietnam, we can build a richer future.

We sincerely look forward to welcoming those who share our passion for this challenge and are willing to walk this path with us.

Comments from Trainees

  • Proactive Recruitment and Comprehensive Acceptance System We provide full support for your new life in Japan. We offer comprehensive assistance for a smooth start, including training by dedicated specialists, help with finding housing, completing government procedures, and visa applications.
  • Multicultural Coexistence Environment Our vibrant workplace is where diverse cultures meet. We value teamwork where differences in nationality and culture are respected, and colleagues learn and grow together. This is a place where every individual can shine.
  • Benefits and Career Development Let's build a secure future where you can work with confidence. We support our team members for long-term success with comprehensive career advancement programs, support for Japanese language proficiency improvement, stable employment, and generous welfare benefits.

To ensure foreign talent can integrate into the community and succeed with peace of mind, we took the lead in establishing the support organization COCORO with local volunteers across various industries. We aim to resolve chronic labor shortages by broadly supplying human resources to the community across multiple sectors, including not only supermarkets (food manufacturing) but also civil engineering/construction, nursing care, and transportation. Through this organization, COCORO, we provide multifaceted support, including daily life assistance, Japanese language education, and cultural exchange, as we work together to build a rich and sustainable local community.
